A free program to help people deal with the challenges of living with an ongoing health condition such as heart disease, a lung condition, diabetes or arthritis will be held on Tuesdays at two area locations. The Lakewood class is Sept. 8-Oct.13 from 1:30-4 p.m. at the Kaiser Permanente Lakewood Medical Office. The Brighton class is Sept.15-Oct. 20 from 2-4:30 p.m. at the Kaiser Permanente Brighton Medical Office in Brighton. Both six-week classes are open to the community.
Healthier Living Colorado™ is the chronic disease self-management program developed at Stanford University. Whatever the diagnosis, this class teaches and supports participants in making better choices and practicing self-management.
