The Denver Lyric Opera Guild hosting Competition for Colorado Singers

The Denver Lyric Opera Guild is hosting the 2024 Competition for Colorado Singers. All events are free, and open to the public. 

This competition is for talented singers with Colorado connections, and the Denver Lyric Opera Guild is proud that so many past competition winners and participants are performing and teaching opera around the world. The guild has awarded over $1million to more than four hundred top winners.

The Louise Conter Master Class will be from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17. Tenor John Lindsey, assistant professor of music at Colorado State University, will facilitate this class. It will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 6500 E. Girard Ave., Denver.

The Preliminary Round of the Competition for Colorado Singers will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 2.

The Final Round of the competition will be from 1-5 p.m. March 23.
