After having to take a one-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 virus, housing nonprofit Brothers Redevelopment is excited to announce that the Local Social is back, in-person for 2021. This year’s Local Social will be held on Friday, Sept. 10, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at The Yard at 5500 Logan Street in Denver.

“We’re so thrilled to be back, face-to-face for this annual event,” said Jeff Martinez, President of Brothers Redevelopment. “This event is a critical piece of our fundraising for the Paint-a-Thon so, being able to do it in-person again makes it so much more valuable – and fun.”

This year’s focus is on the amazing accomplishments that Brothers Redevelopment has seen over the last 50 years – in addition to the more whimsical take on what life was like in 1971 when Brothers Redevelopment was founded.

Tickets are on sale NOW for $50.00 per person until September 1, when the cost goes up to the magic number of $71.00 (to celebrate 1971) or two for $125.00. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities can be found here

Proceeds from this event will be used toward our long-standing Paint-A-Thon Program, which utilizes civic-minded volunteers to paint the homes and provide home repairs for low-income homeowners who are 60+ and/or disabled.
